New Star SV-20R boosts capacity at Mikrotech

In a constant effort to keep up with the demands of the modern market, we have invested in the purchase of another new STAR SV-20R CNC lathe from Star Micronics.
This comprehensive CNC lathe offers material machining up to a maximum bar diameter of 20 mm, control of up to 12 axes and high precision and flexibility in the production of more complex components
The SV-20R is ideal for the demanding series production of smaller components where every detail is critical. Thanks to this technology, we can speed up production, increase productivity and maintain the highest machining quality.

Czech – Slovak Business Forum 2025

On 24 September 2025, we participated in the Czech-Slovak Business Forum 2025 at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Žilina, where 78 companies – 58 from Slovakia and 20 from the Czech Republic and other countries – met. The participants had almost 260 bilateral meetings, which brought new contacts and opportunities for cooperation.

The forum was jointly opened by the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Slovakia Rudolf Jindrák, Commercial Counsellor at the Embassy of the Czech Republic Petr Darmovzal, Chairman of SOPK Žilina Pavol Vitek and representative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Jiří Dvořňák.

The event was prepared by the Slovak Agency for Investment and Trade Development (SARIO) within the framework of the National Project 2 – Support for the Internationalisation of SMEs, which helps Slovak small and medium-sized enterprises to grow, expand and find new export opportunities.
